Brookgreen Gardens - Art

The magnificent Brookgreen Gardens near Murrells Inlet, SC. These grounds were originally inhabited by the Waccamaw Indians and were later taken and developed at four separate rice plantations. In 1930 Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington bought 9,000 acres, which includes Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington Beach State Park. Many of Anna's sculptures can be found at Brookgreen Gardens.
